10 Weeks!

Baby's now the size of a prune!
With bones and cartilage starting to form and vital organs beginning to function, baby is making major progress. Body length will almost double in the next three weeks, and arm joints are now working. (Soon, legs will start working too.)

How Far Along: 10 weeks and 4 days
Total weight gain: When I got on the scale the other day, it said I was 2 lbs less than I was at the doctor a few weeks ago. I didn't have on clothes (at home, not the doctor's!) so hopefully the total gain won't be that much when I go back in 2 weeks.
Maternity clothes: Still not wearing any yet, but I bought 2 nursing bras and a few more shirts last weekend. I read somewhere that you might as well go ahead and buy nursing bras instead of maternty bras so you'll already have them when you need them.
Sleep: I'm definitely more tired than I have been in recent weeks. I actually slept until 10:30 yesterday! I wasn't as lucky this morning because my back was hurting. Boo. I was having to get up around 4 AM to pee, but my bladder has decided to push that back until 7 AM. Thanks bladder!
Best Moment this week: It was technically last week, but we found the furniture we want and decided on a stroller! See below for pics! AND I finished taking my progesterone! Yay!
Movement: I feel an occasional flutter, but I know it's not the baby yet. It must be muscle twitches or something.
Gender: I still don't know of course, but I have dreams with both, so that's not helpful!
Labor signs: None and I hope not to see any for a long time!
Belly button: Innie
Cravings: I still want sush!
Nausea:Still there most days, all day. We'll see if it subsides in a few weeks when I enter the second trimester.
What I miss: Being able to sleep until mid-afternoon on my days off. I can't remember the last time that happened!
Stretch Marks: No new ones this week. Still using the funky-smelling Palmer's stretch mark lotion.
Weekly wisdom: Cheerios are the devil. I thought I was crazy for thinking this a few weeks ago, but a pregnant friend of mine tossed her cookies when she walked into the kitchen and smelled the Cheerios her husband was eating. The smell is just overwhelming! Who would've thought!
What I am looking forward to this week: Getting through 2 days of work this weekend so I can have 3 days off next week!

This is the stroller we have decided on. It's the Chicco Cortina KeyFit 30 travel system. We like how easy it is to maneuver and the car seat base is easy to install.

This is the Brookline collection of furniture from Westwood Baby we've decided on if we have a boy. Notice it's more masculine than the Stratton below. We definitely wanted a convertible crib and this one converts to a toddler bed, day bed, and full bed. The quality is great and I don't think it will go out of style between now and the time they leave for college. It's definitely something I would choose for my own bedroom furniture.

And this is the Stratton collection by the same company.
